Das schwarze Notebook von Siemens ist u. a. mit einer 160 GB Festplatte versehen, womit sich zahlreiche berufliche und private Dateien, Videos, Bilder und sonstiges speichern lässt. Durch dem Festplatten-, dem System-, dem Administrationskennwort und der Kensington Slot Vorrichtung, sind diese Daten, auch vor unbefugten Personen geschützt. Außerdem ist dieses Notebook noch mit einer Webcam versehen, die eine Auflösung von 1,3 Megapixel befindet. Zu finden ist diese Webcam oben am 12,1 Zoll Display, das eine Bildschirmdiagonale von 30,73 cm und eine WXGA Auflösung von 1280 x 800 Pixel hat. Dieses Notebook ist nicht nur auf Geschäftsreisen, Kundenbesuchen mein ständiger Begleiter. Auch im Urlaub darf das Notebook nicht fehlen. Mit einer Breite von 30 cm, einer Höhe von 3,7 cm, einer Tiefe von 22,9 cm, einem Gewicht von 2 kg, lässt es sich recht einfach transportieren. Da wir auch eine passende Notebooktragetasche besitzen, ist der Transport nur noch ein Kinderspiel. Auf dem Notebook ist das Betriebssytem WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM bereits vorinstalliert. Es befindet sich aber auch im umfangreichen Softwarepaket, wie zahlreiche Treiber, Programme. Ebenfalls im Zubehörpaket enthalten ist ein Netzteil und ein Akku, das eine sehr lange Laufzeit bis zu 4 Stunden hat. Dieses ist natürlich abhängig von der jeweiligen Anwendung, die dank des 2 GB RAM Arbeitsspeicher, dem INTEL CORE 2 DUO P8400 2,26 GHz Prozessor, auch problemlos erledigt werden. Außerdem ist das Notebook mit zahlreichen Anschlüssen ausgestattet: 2 x USB, Docking Anschluss, RJ45 (Netzwerk), Mikrofon/Audio Line In, Kopfhörer/Audio Line Out, eSata, VGA, womit sich beispielsweise Drucker, Scanner, mp 3 Player, USB Stick u.v.m ohne Probleme anschließen lassen. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der Kartenleser, der u. a. SD/SDHC-, MMC PLUS Speicherkarten unterstützt. Auch der Multi DVD Brenner kann mit DVD Double Layer und DVD RAM umgehen. Ein Highlight ist die Bluetooth Schnittstelle, womit sich Daten, Videos, Bilder, "kabellos" vom Handy auf dieses Notebook übertragen lassen.
