Da die Menschen aufgrund dieser Außerirdischen logischerweise sehr nervös sind, wird Klaatu von einem Soldaten angeschossen und bei der Operation, die sein Leben retten soll, findet man heraus, dass sein Körper aus den DNA-Strängen mehrerer Aliens besteht.
